02 — Logos
Logo System
The One Hope Church wordmark and H icon are the cornerstones of our visual identity. Always use approved files — never recreate or modify the logo.
About the H Mark: The H mark represents our unity in Christ — ONE Church — with our eyes on ONE Hope. The mark may be used independently as an icon when the full wordmark has already been established in context.
✓ Do
Use approved PNG files only
Maintain clear space equal to the height of the "H" mark on all sides
Use white logo on dark or colored backgrounds
Use black logo on white or light backgrounds
Keep minimum width of 120px for digital, 1" for print
Use the H icon alone only when brand is already established in context
✗ Don't
Stretch, skew, or distort the logo
Rotate the logo at any angle
Apply drop shadows, glows, or effects
Change any logo colors
Place on busy or low-contrast backgrounds
Recreate the logo in another typeface
Use below minimum size — it becomes illegible
03 — Typography
Typeface System
Montserrat is the official brand typeface going forward. Note: The current website uses Space Grotesk + Lora — Montserrat is now the standard for all new materials.

Each ministry uses the same H icon mark with its name displayed below. This creates a unified family while giving each ministry its own identity. The "ONE HOPE" prefix is always displayed in Hope Blue.

Sub-brand rule: Ministry names should always appear as "ONE HOPE [MINISTRY]" — never shortened to just the ministry name alone. The full prefix keeps each sub-brand visually connected to the parent identity.

Profile picture guidance: Use the H icon mark (One-Hope-Favicon.png) on a Night Black (#1B2026) square background for all social profile photos. This creates instant recognition across all platforms and at all sizes. The H icon is distinctive and reads clearly even at 32px.
06 — Brand Patterns
Dark vs. Light Usage
One Hope Church leads with a dark theme. Dark backgrounds command authority and create the focused, cinematic feel that reflects our mission. Light usage is reserved for specific contexts.
Primary treatment. Dark backgrounds with white logo and Hope Blue accents. Use for most applications — social, presentations, signage, digital.
✓ Primary — Dark Theme
Light theme for print on white paper, bulletins, co-branded materials where dark backgrounds aren't appropriate.
◦ Secondary — Light Theme
Hope Blue full-bleed for high-energy moments — event banners, key call-to-action sections, featured campaigns.
◦ Accent — Hope Blue
Deep Slate for cards, overlays, and secondary surfaces that need elevation from the Night Black background.
◦ Surface — Deep Slate
07 — Do's & Don'ts
Brand Misuse
These are the most common ways the brand gets compromised. Avoid them to keep our identity strong and consistent.
